MERCER COUNTY BUSINESS RETENTION AND EXPANSION PROGRAM (BREP)Mercer County's Business Retention and Expansion Program (BREP) is a systematic call program designed to retain, expand, and attract jobs, to expand the tax base through capital investment, and to stay in touch with businesses in Mercer County. Through a site visitation and 30-60 minute one-on-one interview, a company profile is developed that includes historic information as well as current and anticipated resource needs. Information is then compiled in a secured, centralized, computer database to maintain confidentiality. Company needs are then assessed and matched to the expertise of local, regional and state economic development agencies.
